The Angel Cats are back, and this return is a full remaster rather than a light polish. Twin Shot Deluxe rebuilds the classic arcade platform shooter with more than 200 brand-new levels spread across four distinct worlds. You can play solo or team up with up to four friends in local co-op, taking on shifting level layouts, new enemies, and tougher bosses. If you want a different kind of challenge, competitive play is also available, giving every match a sharper edge.

This upgrade goes far beyond visuals. Every character, background, animation, and menu has been redone from the ground up, and the game now runs smoothly at 60FPS in a modern 16:9 format. The controls have been tuned for a tighter, more natural feel, while the new Atlantis theme, added mechanics, and special hats with unique abilities give the remake extra depth. With enhanced music by original composer Dave Cowen, the game turns nostalgia into something richer and more complete. As the first release in the Nitrome Classics series, it brings a beloved old favorite back for modern players.
